Our goal is to provide a quality camp experience for up to 65 children each summer; to accomplish that goal we need your help. There are several volunteer positions that are needed each summer and while each is different in their specific role, we all work together as one cohesive team to achieve the goals of our program.
To start the application process, you will need to complete the Camp Opportunity Volunteer Application. Next steps are included in the link.

Camp cannot happen without the commitment of these special people each session. We are always looking for more fabulous counselors and CITs (counselors in training) to dedicate a week of their summer to a child in need. This role is critical to the camp experience and although it can be the most challenging, it is also the most rewarding. Counseling staff must monitor the safety and well-being of their campers on a day-to-day basis and participate in all activities with their camper. So, if you are at least 15 years old (first session) or 16 years old (second session), are ready to work hard, have fun and make a difference in a child's life, apply for this role!
Do you have a hobby you'd like to teach others? Do you have a skill that a young child might enjoy learning? Join us as an activity teacher! While there are some activities at camp that are offered every year, such as swimming, arts & crafts, and archery, we are always looking to add new ones. If you can teach an activity in three 40 minute sessions, please apply to join our team.
We are also looking for new program performers to add to the camp experience, for evening and afternoon performances. Do you have a unique talent? Are you part of a performance group? Can you provide an engaging and interactive performance for a group of 35 kids, 35 counselors and a few other assorted adults? If so, please apply to entertain us.
All of our volunteers must be able to do the following:
You must be at least 15 years old to apply for first session and 16 years old to apply for second session.
To apply for any kind of volunteer position, you will first need to complete the Volunteer Interst Form which will be posted here soon. You can apply to volunteer for one or both sessions of camp.
Once your information has been received you will be contacted by our Camp Directors, John or Becky, to confirm your interest. If you are a new applicant, they will set a time to meet with you for an informal in-person interview (or by telephone if distance is an issue). Once hired you will receive a Welcome email with additional information and forms.
Please note that all volunteer staff 18 and over must also get fingerprinted. LiveScan information will be provided to you in the Welcome email.
Additionally, as guests of the campgrounds, we must abide by their COVID related rules and requirments. This will be outlined as part of the volunteer interest form.
